TNA Wrestling held their latest round of television tapings in Pittsburgh on June 20, 2025 as they were obviously building towards Slammiversary. Interestingly enough, it appears a former WWE talent made their debut during the tapings.

During the TNA television tapings in Pittsburgh, a huge surprise took place. Mustafa Ali beat John Skyler in a Call to Arms match, then turned on his own group Order 4, by attacking both Skyler and Jason Hotch.

Just when Ali looked like he was about to hit Tasha Steelz with a chair, Cedric Alexander made his surprise debut in TNA and came to the ring. Hotch, Skyler, and Steelz stood with Alexander as Ali quickly ran away.

This comes after Cedric Alexanderwas released by WWE earlier this year and we had previously reported that TNA was interested in signing Cedric Alexander to a contract just before Against All Odds.

Cedric Alexanders surprise debut came at the perfect moment for TNA Wrestling. With Slammiversary coming up soon, the timing sets the stage for a big feud with Mustafa Ali. The story could go in many exciting directions, so well have to see how TNA will book Alexander in the coming weeks.

What do you think of Cedric Alexander joining TNA and immediately stepping into a storyline with Mustafa Ali? Sound off in the comments.
