LeBron James is gearing up for his 23rd NBA season a milestone no one in league history has ever reached before.

But before any of that happens, hes focused on getting his body right after hepicked up a knee injury during LALs season-ending loss to the Timberwolves.

Two months on,James said his left knee is feeling good after spraining a ligament.

I have a lot of time to take care of my injury, my knee, the rest of my body and make sure Im as close to 100 percent as possible when training camp begins in late September, he told The Associated Press.

James went on to discuss his family and said how one of the best things about them is how supportive theyve been. They havent ever put pressure on the 40-year-old to give it all up.

Theyre like Dad, continue on your dream, LeBron said. This is your dream. Continue on your focus. Youve been here for us this whole time, he said. When you have that type of support it makes it a lot easier.

He knows the end of the road is somewhere close, hes just not sure exactly where.

At this point of my career, you think about when the end is. Thats human nature, James said. You think: Is it this year? Or next year? Those thoughts always creep into your mind at this point of the journey. But I have not given it a specific timetable, date. Im seeing how my body and family reacts, too.

Still, the idea of sticking around long enough to play with his son Bryce, James labels as insane, but knowing LeBron, its definitely not off the table.
