The Death Riders have been working together with The Young Bucks to rule over AEW for the past few weeks. On the other hand, the Opps have been feuding with the Death Riders, while Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland recently started a major program with The Bucks. Thats why it will all come to a head in a huge tag team match at Grand Slam Mexico, as The Death Riders and The Young Bucks will face off against Will Ospreay, Swerve Strickland and The Opps.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Mark Briscoe
Mark Briscoe will be duking it out with Kazuchika Okada at Grand Slam Mexico in a singles match. The match was made official after Briscoe called out Okada for brutalizing Kenny Omega on last weeks AEW Summer Blockbuster. Therefore, well have to see who will win in the end.
CMLL Womens World Title: Zeuxis (c) vs. Mercedes Mon
In a highly anticipated cross-promotional match, CMLL Womens World Champion Zeuxis will defend her title against Mercedes Mon on Grand Slam Mexico. The CEO of AEW already has five belts to her name and shes looking to make it six, so well have to see if Mercedes Mon will walk out as the new champion.
Other Matches
MJF will be going one-on-one with Mistico on the show and hes made the feud personal after shading Misticos WWE career. Therefore, fans are waiting to see who will end up winning the bout.
Ricochet will face off against Hologram, Lio Rush and Mscara Dorada in a 4 Million Pesos Four-Way match. Its expected to be a high-flying match from start to finish, so fans are obviously excited about it.
Finally, Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia, Brody King, Templario, Bandido & Atlantis Jr. will square off against Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander & Hechicero in a massive 12-man tag team match. It remains to be seen if the match will surpass all expectations.
