A major shake-up may be underway in WWE NXT, and it all comes down to moneyand main roster plans.
According to Wrestling Observer Lives Bryan Alvarez, several top names in NXT, including Stephanie Vaquer, Ricky Saints, and Jordynne Grace, were brought in under significantly larger contracts than most developmental talent.
Alvarez explained that these kinds of contracts are rarely used unless WWE sees the talent as a short-term NXT investment.
Vaquer, who recently lost the NXT Womens Championship to Jacy Jayne, was reportedly emotional after the bout, and Alvarez speculated that it was due to a positive shift in her career trajectory.
While WWE has not confirmed any call-ups, and no official brand has been named, the speculation is growing that all three could be headed to Raw or SmackDown sooner rather than later.
