Trick Williams continues to make a splash as the TNA World Champion.
During the May 29 episode of iMPACT!, Williams made a bold appearance, raising the TNA World Title high and firmly establishing himself as the top figure in TNA Wrestling.
Williams appeared in a pre-recorded segment, addressing Mike Santanas challenge. He dismissed Santanas threat. Hed pointed out that he needs to be treated like a true champion with a first-class ticket and a five-star hotel. Williams went on to make it clear that his focus is no longer on Joe Hendry Elijah or Santana, declaring that hes the one in charge now. He warned Santana to stay to stay out of his, reinforcing his stance as the champion who is taking over TNA.
Trick also added, Its time for a re-brand. TNA turned into Trick-N-A. He emphasized that he will show up when and where he wants to defend the title, solidifying his new reign.
As Williams prepares for his TNA World Title defense next week on WWE NXT, he seems more confident than ever in his position. Santana will have a shot at the title, but Williams is making it clear that he has no intention of letting go of the championship.
