Zoey Starks recent injury on WWE RAW shook up the locker room and no one felt it more than Womens Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria.
Speaking with Dublin Live, Valkyria opened up about what it was like to watch her fellow WWE star go down during the May 19, 2025 episode, calling the moment heartbreaking and offering support as Stark begins a long road to recovery.
Stark was injured during a Money in the Bank qualifying match and had to be helped to the back. It was later confirmed she needed surgery and could be out of action for the rest of the year. Valkyria, who knows firsthand how difficult knee injuries can be, was visibly shaken by what she saw.
Valkyria also acknowledged that both she and Stark have dealt with major knee injuries before, and while no official details on Starks injury have been released, shes hoping for the best.
Stark has since confirmed via Instagram that shes undergone surgery and shared a photo of her leg in a brace, writing: Road to recovery starts now! Day 1.
While WWE has not confirmed a timeline, many believe Stark could be out until late 2025. In the meantime, support from superstars like Lyra Valkyria shows how close the locker room really is and just how deeply this injury has impacted those around her.
