Toni Storm is ready to defend the AEW Womens World Title at Double or Nothing against a familiar opponent, Mina Shirakawa. The difference between now and previously, when the two women embraced, is that Shirakawa is officially on the AEW roster now.
Storm took one final promo to give Shirakawa a look at what is to come this Sunday. In it, she discusses their history and wants the two of them to drag our tits through the dirt, and make every cactus cream in celebration.
On the Thursday episode of Collision, Mercedes Mone was in action ahead of her Owen Hart Cup Final match, which takes place at Double or Nothing (there, she will face Jamie Hayter). CMLLs Reyna Isis challenged for the TBS Championship but wasnt able to get the win. Hayter would come out after the match to get a rise out of Mone.
Kris Statlander cut a backstage promo on Willow Nightingale. And a match was added to the Buy In for Double or Nothing. It will be Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford vs. Harley Cameron & Anna Jay.
