Triple H Confirms Money in the Bank 2026 Will Take Place in New Orleans After WrestleMania Exit

In a new statement posted on social media, Levesque addressed the recent joint announcement between WWE and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, confirming that WrestleMania is no longer scheduled for the Superdome in April 2026. But while the big show is being pushed to a future year, New Orleans isnt getting left behind.

Today I want to announce to you the first of those, one of which were very excited about coming to New Orleans on Saturday, August 29th, Levesque said. 2026 will be Money in the Bank.

He added, Money in the Bank is one of our biggest events of the year with high stakes, amazing drama and the chance of a lifetime for two WWE Superstars to walk away with a coveted Money in the Bank briefcase.

The updated plans come after WWE made a splashy on-air announcement earlier this year with The Rock naming New Orleans as the host city for WrestleMania 42. Thats now off the table, and no new host city has been announced. But WWE is keeping close ties with Louisiana, thanks to what Levesque described as great local partners from both the state and the city.
