WWE brought the finals for the first season of LFG on A&E. The show made a strong impression with fans, and the network responded by renewing it for six more seasons. At the end of the season, one winner was left standing to become NXTs latest roster addition.
After weeks of eliminations and key moments, the final four competitors arrived at Madison Square Garden to compete for the LFG Championship. In the mens division, Jasper Troy from Team Booker T faced off against Shiloh Hill from Team Undertaker. Their match would decide who earned the title.
Shiloh Hill defeated Jasper Troy to win the mens final. The match ended Hills run through the bracket with a win that puts him on WWEs radar for what comes next. The Undertaker coached Hill to the finish, giving him a presence in both finals.
Shawn Michaels was the one who stepped in to crown the first LFG champion. After he broke everything down, HBK announced that Jasper Troy is the winner of LFG season ones NXT contract. The reason given was that Jasper has what it takes to get in the ring right now with an NXT champion.
We will have to see what the future holds for Jasper Troy. He has a ton of skills, and he obviously has the drive to make that happen.
