WWE LFG: Legends & Future Greats is sticking around for three more years. Mickie James confirmed the A&E series has been renewed for six more seasons after a successful debut run, set to conclude on May 18, 2025.
James, who served as a coach in Season 1, shared her excitement over the shows future during an interview with Denise Salcedo. It was a lot of fun to be the first ever and to have the success, to know that its gotten picked up for not just another season but for three years, so like six seasons hopefully. Thats a big damn deal. I loved it, and youre welcome, she said.
Although Michelle McCool will take over as a coach in the next season, James reflected on the emotional experience of working with aspiring talent and wrestling legends. I think where I went wrong, and where I will always go wrong, is that I lead with my heart, and I fell in love with my kids. Im going to be a fan of theirs for life now. I want to see them win. I want to see all those guys win. It was a wonderful crew, she admitted.
James also cherished the chance to work closely with Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and The Undertaker, saying, I got to know Undertaker in a different light. Id only seen him as the judge and the jury of the locker room. To get to know him and feel like an equal, that was pretty special.
With six more seasons on the way, WWE LFG is set to provide even more opportunities for aspiring talent to learn from some of the biggest names in the industry.
