Just ahead of AEWs Double or Nothing (DON) next weekend, a face-to-face has been added to this Wednesdays Dynamite.
The TBS Champion, Mercedes Mon will be taking on Jamie Hayter at DON in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. The winner of this match does go on to face the AEW Womens World Champion at All In. The current champion is Toni Storm, however, Storm defends the title against Mina Shirakawa at DON.
Shirakawa won a four-way title eliminator match to become the number one contender. She not only won the match, but pinned Storm to do so. Storm will be on commentary this Wednesday during a match between Shirakawa and Julia Hart.
Other AEW news includes Megan Bayne defeating Anna Jay on Collision on Saturday. Harley Cameron continues to do what she can to side with Jay in their rivalry against Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Tensions also heated up between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander.
