Mickie James had been keeping herself busy as a coach for WWE LFG and this made fans wonder whether shed be open to a creative role in wrestling one day. After lots of speculation, Mickie James has finally revealed whether she would actually be open to a creative role in the future.
While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Mickie James was asked if she had ever considered taking on a creative role backstage in a wrestling promotion. She revealed that at this point in her career, she would absolutely love to do that. She pointed out how in the past, it didnt even seem possible for women to hold such positions. There werent many female role models in those roles when she was coming up, only a few idols and mentors she admired from a distance.
James noted that leadership roles for women in wrestling are becoming more common now, and that change has opened her eyes to new possibilities. Mickie James believes in recognizing her strengths, noting that she can put together a great match and understands in-ring psychology.
However, what excites her most is character development. James explained that shes especially passionate about helping talent connect so deeply with their character that they can fully embody them at any moment and just as importantly, know how to turn that character off when needed.
We have also reported that Mickie James has WWE-related promotional appearances scheduled, even after her departure from WWE LFG. Therefore, fans are waiting to see if James does take on a creative role in WWE or some other promotion, as her incredible knowledge and experience would definitely help future generations of professional wrestlers.
