AEW President Tony Khan has broken his silence after AEW Collisions May 17th episode abruptly ended at 9:30 PM, cutting off the main event and airing The Rocks Black Adam movie instead.

Taking to Twitter, Khan explained that technical problems with our studio transmission caused the unexpected switch and apologized to frustrated viewers.

Im sorry for the inconvenience to all of you great fans! Khan tweeted, assuring fans that the full episode would be available on Stream On Max and the TNT West feed later that night. He outlined the new airtimes, stating that the complete show would air at 8 PM PT/9 PM MT/10 PM CT/11 PM ET.

Fifteen minutes later, Khan followed up with another tweet, directing fans to the TNT app, available on most devices, where they could catch the West Coast feed of AEW Collision in its entirety.

Despite the clarification, fans are still fuming over the sudden cut-off, as the advertised ROH Tag Team Champions match featuring Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara vs. The CRU was completely left off the broadcast. AEW has yet to provide further information about the technical difficulties or why the main event was specifically impacted.
