Chris Jericho is pulling back the curtain on a wild behind-the-scenes moment involving Vince McMahon and Ozzy Osbourne during a 2009 episode of WWE Raw.

Appearing on Talk Is Jericho and Inside the Ropes, Jericho shared the story of how Vince tried to convince Ozzy to call him a wanker during a backstage segment.

So he put me in a backstage vignette with Ozzy, Jericho recalled. And the idea was that I would be yelling at Ozzy and insult him. Then he would go, Youre nothing but a stupid wanker. And so Vince is explaining this to Ozzy, and Ozzys like, Wanker? I cant call him a wanker, man. What do you mean? He was like, Wanker is like tossing off, man. Its like jacking off, man. You cant say that on TV.'

Jericho went on to explain how Ozzy was completely against using the term, even pointing out the global reach of WWE programming. You know things are bad when Ozzy Osbourne is the voice of reason of what you can and cant say on TV, Jericho said.

The segment, which aired on the November 2, 2009 episode of WWE Raw, ended up playing out differently than originally pitched. Instead of Ozzy calling Jericho a wanker, the segment saw Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne dealing with Jericho in a more conventional comedic fashion, avoiding the controversial term altogether.

Jerichos story shows how far Vince McMahon was willing to go for a laugh, even if it meant pushing boundaries that left even Ozzy Osbourne shaking his head.

What do you think was Ozzy right to shut down the wanker line, or would it have been a hilarious moment on WWE Raw? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
