Hulk Hogans Real American Beer is moving forward with a bold plan to acquire the branding rights to Hooters, according to a report from Business Insider.

The deal, if approved, would give Real American Beer control over Hooters-branded merchandise, food, and beverages for distribution at Hooters locations, retail stores, and entertainment venues but not the restaurant operations themselves.

Under the proposed arrangement, Real American would license the Hooters name back to the restaurant operators while focusing on consumer products and entertainment ventures. The bid, reportedly an all-cash offer, is still pending approval from those overseeing Hooters ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The bid amount has not been disclosed.

Hooters of America, one of two entities that operate Hooters locations in the U.S., filed for bankruptcy in March to restructure its debts under the management of private equity firms Nord Bay Capital and TriArtisan Capital Advisors. Despite the financial turmoil, Hooters locations remain open throughout the process.

Hooters was one of the first to carry Real American Beer after its launch in 2024, and now Hogan is looking to take that partnership to the next level without taking on restaurant management responsibilities.
