Just when fans thought WWE SmackDown couldnt get any more intense, a major update aired following a commercial break during the May 16, 2025 episode.
WWE ran a video package featuring Damian Priest laying down the challenge to Drew McIntyre, calling for one final match at WWE Saturday Night Main Event on May 24 and he wants it inside a steel cage.
In the clip, Priest made it clear that hes done playing games and wants to settle the score once and for all.
Earlier in the show, R-Truth announced that he would face John Cena at WWE Saturday Night Main Event, adding even more star power to the already stacked event.
WWE Saturday Night Main Event on May 24 is shaping up to be a must-see, and the addition of a steel cage match between Priest and McIntyre just took the excitement to the next level. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event.
