During a conversation with Jim Varsallone, Femi opened up about his interest in stepping into the cage if the opportunity presents itself.
MMA see, that piques my interest, Femi said. I actually do have some interest in doing that. And, you know, if its convenient and I have the opportunity to, Ill definitely jump on it.
Femi even cracked a smile when referencing WWEs connection to UFC through TKO Group Holdings. TKO Group, baby, he said.
Since TKO Group Holdings now houses both WWE and UFC, the door is wide open for crossover opportunities. While Femi is set to defend his NXT Championship against Myles Borne at NXT Battleground on May 25, its clear his ambitions extend beyond the squared circle.
