TKO President Mark Shapiro provided some insight into WWEs ongoing discussions with NBC Universal/Peacock regarding the renewal of their deal for WWE Premium Live Events.

Speaking at the JP Morgan Conference on May 13, 2025, Shapiro acknowledged that while NBCU is interested in renewing the deal set to expire at the end of March 2026, WWE is keeping its options open.

Shapiro mentioned that TKO isnt afraid to work with multiple partners, noting that its financially smart not to rely on a single platform while maximizing revenue opportunities. While he admitted that splitting content across platforms can be frustrating for viewers, he acknowledged that its a reality in todays media landscape.

The focus remains on finding the right financial and brand growth partners, and Shapiro said there is no rush to finalize a deal, echoing the same approach TKO is taking with UFC rights. He also repeated that WWEs PLE strategy is centered on delivering fewer but higher-quality events each year, but he did not mention anything about the WWE library and its perceived value in negotiations.
