Jake The Snake Roberts is on the road to recovery after undergoing heart ablation surgery earlier today. The WWE Hall of Famer and AEW manager took to Twitter shortly after 5 PM ET to let fans know hes doing well, posting a thumbs-up photo from his hospital bed.
Im out of surgery, recovering well, and feeling good, Roberts tweeted. Appreciate everyone who prayed and gave their words of encouragement. Back in action again soon. #TrustMe
Earlier in the day, Roberts wife, Cheryl, asked fans to keep the wrestling legend in their thoughts as he headed into surgery. The latest health scare is just another in a long line for Roberts, who has faced multiple life-threatening conditions over the years, including COPD, diabetes, and a battle with substance abuse.
Despite numerous setbacks, Roberts has remained resilient, crediting Diamond Dallas Page and DDP Yoga for helping him turn his life around. Roberts was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 and has since become a fixture in AEW, serving as a manager and mentor to the current roster.
With his latest health crisis seemingly under control, Roberts is already looking forward to getting back to work in AEW.
