Steph Curry usually plays the hero role for the Warriors, lately that has been Batman, but Draymond Green doesnt want him playing anything at the expense of his health.

Nah, were not going to Superman this thing. If hes in a place where he can play, Im sure he will, Green told reporters after Golden States 117-110 Game 4 loss to the Timberwolves.

Him and Rick [Celebrini] and everyone else will figure that out, but we dont need Superman. You got to play the long game, so, if he can, we know he will. But theres no pressure. We got to find a way to win whether he plays or not.

Marc J. Spears of Andscape asked Steph himself about Draymonds comments and he shared similar sentiments.

Even if I wanted to be Superman, I couldnt, injured Warriors guard Stephen Curry told @andscape in response to Greens words about Game 5. Curry added he doesnt expect to be available in 5 and wont know anything more about his hamstring until his next medical evaluation.

Steve Kerr was asked a hypothetical question by media member, surrounding a scenario where if Steph came to him and said he was ready to play in Game 5, would they let him? But Kerr simply told the media the team will have an update on Wednesday.

Although its looking fairly unlikely that Curry will return for Game 5, Green says theres things happening in the background.

As far as Steph, hes working his tail off every day, Green said. Hes in here eight, nine hours a day, working and doing what he can to try to get back.

His morale is great. Obviously, nobody is excited right now, but hes working to get back. Thats all you can do at this point.
