While speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, Hendry opened up about the moment that left him stunned. So he came up to me, and theres two camera crews. Theyre filming this interaction. Im like, I cant believe the timing that this is happening. Hes just won the championship. I say, John, congrats, Hendry said.
But instead of talking about his title win, Cena zeroed in on Hendrys performance. He didnt even want to talk about the fact that he just became the greatest. He wanted to give me advice, thats who John is, right? He just said to me, I told you exactly what you needed to do at the Rumble. Youve taken it on board. Youve done it. You had a good performance at the Rumble. You were brilliant tonight. Then John walks off, Hendry shared.
For Hendry, the moment was surreal. I hope they release this footage one day, I turned to the camera and I go, can a day get any better than this?
