Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE NXT, isnt wasting any time getting back in the ring.

Bodyslam.net has confirmed that the former NXT Womens Tag Team Champion will make her in-ring debut for Atomic Legacy Wrestling on July 27 at the historic Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Atomic Legacy Wrestling is beyond thrilled and excited to announce that Elayna Black (fka Cora Jade) will be making her ALW in-ring debut on Sunday, July 27 at the HISTORIC Ocean Center Arena show in Daytona Beach, Florida! the promotion announced in a statement.

Elayna Blacks first match since departing WWE comes as she reclaims her original ring name and fully embraces her next chapter. The match itself hasnt been announced yet, but ALW promised to reveal her opponent within the next week. Meanwhile, tickets are already available through Ticketmaster and the Ocean Center Arena box office.

This major return to the indies follows Elayna Blacks recent social media rebrand and her move to launch an OnlyFans account under her new-old name. Shes been vocal about feeling liberated since her WWE release, telling fans, Back 2 work. 27 days til I take over the indies (and your bank accounts), in a recent Instagram Story.

Additionally, Black has teased a potential return to AEW, specifically calling out Julia Hart for a rematch a callback to their 2020 encounter on AEW Dark before WWE signed her.

With her WWE non-compete clause set to expire in less than 30 days, Elayna Black is positioning herself for a strong comeback and it all starts at Summer Slamfest in Daytona Beach.
