Womens wrestling fans have been waiting and waiting for an official announcement from WWE on a return for the Evolution premium live event. And we are still waiting.
However, a new report by PWInsider Elite is giving slightly different plans. Instead of having the event on July 5 and in Connecticut, it is now stating to be planned for July 13 and in Atlanta, Georgia. The idea is based on having a Saturday Nights Main Event the night before on July 12.
The one and only Evolution event took place in 2018. The original reporting of Evolution returning was said to be announced by WWE prior to WrestleMania. Obviously that hasnt happened, and it seems like they dont even have the date secured.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful says that talent hasnt been told a peep about this yet. He clarifies that he has been told this date, just the talent hasnt been.
Cory Hays who first reported Evolution returning has stated that WWE has had to find a new location because the Mohegan Sun venue in Connecticut was booked.
