Joe Hendry continues to make waves globally, as he ranked among WWEs top two merchandise sellers in April outperforming even established names like Jey Uso and John Cena.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Joe Hendry was ranked as the No. 2 merchandise seller for WWE last month, just behind Roman Reigns. Interestingly, he outperformed legendary names like Steve Austin, John Cena, and Jey Uso, who held the third, fourth, and fifth spots, respectively.

What makes this feat even more impressive is that John Cena and Jey Usos merchandise included exclusive WrestleMania edition t-shirtstypically top sellers during that period. The fact that Hendry still managed to surpass them highlights just how strongly fans have connected with him already.

Moreover, this was Hendrys very first appearance at WrestleMania, where he surprised everyone as Randy Ortons mystery opponent. The 37-year-old received a thunderous reaction from the crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Interestingly, it was Orton himself who pitched for the match, signaling that Hendry has already earned respect within the WWE locker room.

Furthermore, given his rising popularity, WWE is reportedly very interested in signing The King of the Entrances. Many believe its almost a certainty that he will join the company once his current TNA contract ends. The big question now is whether Hendry can sustain this momentum and fanfare if and when he officially becomes part of the WWE roster.
