Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confessed he is "already stressed" about his team's upcoming Europa League final.
The Red Devils booked their spot in the final with a comprehensive two-legged victory over Athletic Club, and will now meet Tottenham Hotspur on May 21 to fight for the trophy and England's sixth spot in next season's Champions League.
It is an enormous game for both sides, whose miserable domestic campaigns could be saved with victory, and Amorim confessed the idea of watching United's season end in further disappointment is already weighing on his mind.
"I'm stressed already because of the final," he said. "If we don't do it, then it means nothing. But we're happy to be there, so let's see. It's going to be a big final and we will try to win.
"It's hard to describe what it's like to be the manager of this club, and you want to give the supporters something, because we were so disappointing in the Premier League.
"It's the least we can do for these fans, for the support they have given us in this tough season."
Qualifying for the Champions League comes with an obvious financial reward - potentially around 70m - but Amorim believes the biggest benefit to winning the Europa League would be the impact on his squad.
"The money is not the most important thing," he continued. "Even the title [is not the most important thing].
"It is that feeling that we can do things, the feeling to give something to our fans. It is not just about playing Champions League. It is that feeling that we can change things."
