Sean Ross Sapp is setting the record straight regarding WWEs alleged media training mandate for Performance Center talent following the Twitter clash between Ricochet and JeVon Evans.

According to Sapp, the whole story was blown out of proportion and never intended to be taken seriously.

To make it clear. I NEVER reported that WWE was undergoing media training as a result of yesterdays tweets, Sapp posted on his Twitter. Anyone aggregating that is taking it out of context and did not bother asking for clarification. There was a comment right after that post that was pretty obvious that it wasnt a report.

The rumor started after Ricochet and JeVon Evans exchanged heated words on Twitter, with Evans taking a shot at Ricochets AEW run and calling Tony Khan a crackhead.

Sapp clarified that his comment wasnt intended to be taken as a report and that any outlets claiming WWE is enforcing media training are misrepresenting his words. My reporting is on my website, here, or a show. I dont need anyone else breaking my news reports for me, Sapp said, making it clear that no such training is currently planned.

Do you believe WWE should mandate media training for all Performance Center talent after this incident? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
