The WWE-AAA merger just took another wild turn, and now TNA is officially getting in on the action.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Joe Hendry and The Hardys will be part of Triplemana Regia representing TNA.
Triplemana Regia, set for June 15, already made waves when it was confirmed Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillonow performing as Los Garzafor the show. Their involvement was announced by Latin Lover during a press conference in Mexico, making them the first WWE Superstars booked since the company officially acquired AAA on April 19.
Now with Joe Hendry and both Matt and Jeff Hardy stepping in as TNA reps, this is shaping up into more than just a WWE-AAA collaborationits a full-on multi-promotion showdown.
Theres still no word on their opponents, but with a Worlds Collide event already scheduled for June 7 and WWEs hands all over AAAs direction, it looks like Triplemana Regia will be a proving ground for this new era of inter-promotional chaos.
Fans are already speculating which other WWE and TNA stars might show up, and the idea of crossover feuds becoming permanent is very real.
