According to the report, WWE has informed Shotzi that her contract is expiring soon and they have no plans to extend it. Internally, sources told Fightful she hasnt been released, but made it clear her exit is already set in motion.
This update came just days after Shotzi posted a cryptic promo on social media, sparking speculation that something big was happening. The eerie video now feels like a farewell in disguise. Then came the website change, placing her in the alumni sectionanother red flag.
Earlier this week, WWE told Fightful no talent has been released at this point, yet several cuts were made just 24 hours later, including names like Gigi Dolin, Shayna Baszler, and Dakota Kai. As of now, theres no confirmation on exactly when Shotzis contract ends.
Shotzi originally joined WWE in 2019 after a standout run in EVOLVE and on the indie scene. She brought unmatched energy to NXT, even winning the Womens Tag Team Titles alongside Ember Moon. Injuries and creative shifts slowed her momentum in recent years, but fans never stopped riding with the green-haired powerhouse in the tank.
