And poor goalkeeping from Zion Suzki enabled Dorgu to nod home into an empty net from a corner, earning United a point and giving the club hierarchy a difficult decision to make concerning Carricks future.United sit third bottom in the Premier League table with just eight points from 10 games and only Sunderland and Crystal Palace propping them up. The Red Devils visit Liverpool after the break but, despite another spirited fightback, it remains questionable whether Carrick will be in the away dugout for that game.More to follow Manchester United Aston Villa 4 Goals 4 3.49 xG 2.94 56% Possession 44% 26 Total Shots 12 9 Shots on Target 6 10 Shots off Target 4 8 Corners 1 18 Fouls 9 2 Offsides 0 1 Yellow Cards 1 3 Saves 5 484 Passes 399 422 Passes Completed 337 87% Pass Accuracy 84% Home Away The Premier League Table Premier League 2026 England #TeamPlayedWonDrawnLostGFGAGDPtsLast 5 1 Arsenal109011551027 W W W W W 2 Manchester City107032113821 L L L W W 3 Brighton96122471719 W W L W W 4 Chelsea95131915416 L W L W W 5 Everton104421210216 W W L L D 6 Liverpool9432119215 W L W W L 7 Brentford9351169714 L W D L D 8 Leeds10352108214 W L D D L 9 Bournemouth93331413112 W W W W L 10 Tottenham103341011-112 L W W W D 11 Newcastle103341316-312 D L W L L 12 Aston Villa93331013-312 D D W W D 13 Hull City102531111011 L D D L D 14 Ipswich93241418-411 L D D L W 15 Fulham102441012-210 D D W W L 16 Nottingham Forest10235913-49 W L D L L 17 Coventry103071019-99 L W L L W 18 Manchester United91441015-57 D L L D D 19 Crystal Palace9216921-127 L L L L W 20 Sunderland9126717-105 W L D L L Position 1, 2, 3, 4 : Promotion Champions League (League phase) Position 5 : Promotion Europa League (League phase) Position 18, 19, 20 : Relegation Championship Upcoming fixtures for Manchester United and Aston Villa Upcoming Fixtures : Manchester United Premier League Liverpool LIV 15:00 2026-11-21 Manchester United MUN UEFA Champions League Sporting CP SPO 20:00 2026-11-25 Manchester United MUN Premier League Manchester United MUN 15:00 2026-11-28 Brentford BRE Premier League Newcastle NEW 20:00 2026-12-02 Manchester United MUN Premier League Manchester United MUN 15:00 2026-12-05 Coventry COV Upcoming Fixtures : Aston Villa Premier League Aston Villa AST 15:00 2026-11-21 Sunderland SUN UEFA Champions League Galatasaray GAL 17:45 2026-11-24 Aston Villa AST Premier League Ipswich IPS 15:00 2026-11-28 Aston Villa AST Premier League Aston Villa AST 20:00 2026-12-02 Everton EVE Premier League Aston Villa AST 15:00 2026-12-05 Crystal Palace CRY Topics Aston Villa F.C.
