But it won't be until Tuesday at [4 p.m.] where you'll know exactly what's going on, you'll know exactly what the verdict is."The Colts (2-6) have been headed for an apparent reboot in recent weeks, beginning with the firing of general manager Chris Ballard last month and the trades of guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner a week later. Taylor, wide receiver Josh Downs and others have become trade targets of other teams, as the Colts continue to mull offers with the goal of stockpiling draft picks. As a result, Taylor's future has become one of the biggest stories in the NFL in recent weeks. The Colts' career rushing touchdown leader and second-leading rusher behind Edgerrin James, Taylor, 27, is coveted by teams trying to make a playoff run."You can't avoid it," Taylor said. "Internet, all of that stuff. You can't avoid it. But it's more about trying to block that out. Let's say you're getting online. Whatever you're getting online to do, go get it done. And whether you have some type of marketing obligation, get it done, and then you're off of it. But you're not going to avoid it, not until it's all over."For now, Taylor is focused on Sunday's home game against the Dallas Cowboys. Indianapolis suffered an embarrassing 42-7 loss at Jacksonville last week, with Taylor held to 23 rushing yards on eight carries. He sat out the fourth quarter because of the huge deficit in the game.Coach Shane Steichen said Taylor will play against the Cowboys despite the trade talks, and Taylor confirmed his intent to play.Sunday's game could be Taylor's last as a member of the Colts, but he said he will focus on winning, not his personal situation."You don't want external factors creeping in and trying to alter your play," he said.
