Over the last few years, AEW has not been shy when it comes to running shows in stadiums, holding three All In's at Wembley Stadium since 2023, and the 2025 All In at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. But as of yet, the promotion hasn't tried running in an American football stadium, though one such stadium wasn't entirely dismissed by referee Bryce Remsburg. In an appearance on "The Certified Mark Show," Remsburg was asked about the possibility of AEW running a show in Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the home of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, and while he didn't see it happening soon, he could see it happening eventually."I will say the fact that they've hosted wrestling before, which was WrestleMania, is a positive," Remsburg said. "That means they know what they're doing, they know what to do. And I will say Philadelphia has been one of the best AEW markets since it started. So if we were looking for a domestic stadium to host an All In at, I do think The Link would be in the conversation. I don't think it's going to happen in the next year, but maybe after that. I'm not sure we have the demand for a Link show...But never ever say ever, I will say that."The timing of the question comes as AEW has been rumored to be running a stadium show of some kind this upcoming April, in response to WWE deciding to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia instead of North America. While AEW owner Tony Khan has himself hinted at the idea, no formal announcement confirming such a show has been made, and most of the rumors have suggested the show would be held in New York City, seemingly eliminating any Philadelphia venue from being a possibility. If you use any of the quotes in this article, please credit "The Certified Mark Show" and provide a h/t to Wrestling Inc. for the transcription
