"WWE Raw" General Manager Adam Pearce revealed in the opening of Monday's show that Stephanie Vaquer is not medically cleared to compete in her previously announced match against Becky Lynch. "La Primera" was set to go one-on-one with "The Man" to determine the number one contender for Liv Morgan's Women's World Championship.Pearce announced that Lynch will instead challenge Morgan for her title in the main event of the show. At Money in the Bank, Morgan defeated Vaquer in a triple threat match involving Lynch to win the championship back.Vaquer's status had come into question in recent weeks, as she was reportedly injured in the Money in the Bank bout. She wrestled days later at WWE live events in Hawaii, however. After a backstage segment last Monday, where Pearce told Lynch they'd have to circle back on the number one contender's bout, he revealed on social media on Saturday that Vaquer was cleared, and announced the match for Monday. In the hours ahead of "Raw," WWE revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Vaquer's status was up in the air once again, and Pearce would be addressing it on the show.
