"What a tough dude."Then looking back at it, seeing on the tape, you could see every once in a while, I guess him kind of messing with it a little bit."Brooks had slid into Marvin Harrison Jr.'s role as the X receiver after Harrison was traded to the Houston Texans on Oct. 11. Brooks had five catches for 81 yards, all of which came after Harrison's trade. He was on pace for a career high in yards.LaFleur said Brooks' role will be filled by committee.Rookie Reggie Virgil is expected to get more snaps at the X along with Kendrick Bourne and Simi Fehoko. The Cardinals could get some help back offensively this week.Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is expected to practice Wednesday after missing the last two weeks of practice and the last two games with a left ankle injury. Whether Love plays Sunday is yet to be determined and will be dictated by his week of practice, LaFleur said.LaFleur feels good about cornerback Max Melton and safety Andrew Wingard, both of whom are dealing with knee injuries, returning to practice Wednesday. Melton missed Sunday's game against the Broncos and Wingard missed the last three. However, LaFleur does not expect defensive tackle Walter Nolen III to practice Wednesday as he continues to recover from an ankle injury that kept him out Sunday.
