Indi Hartwell's dream of winning the TNA Knockouts World Championship has come true. For the occasion, Hartwell challenged Xia Brookside for the Knockouts World Championship at Bound For Glory, with TNA Hall of Famer Mickie James serving as the special guest referee. Hartwell burst out the gate with a bulldog to Brookside, only to get dragged to the outside floor. She quickly regained control by ramming the defending champion into the side of the ring.Upon returning to it, Brookside fired back with a series of stomps and a sly untying of the turnbuckle pad. James noticed and subsequently yanked the pad away. That didn't stop Brookside, though, as she blasted Hartwell with a back elbow and knees in another corner. Hartwell eventually regained control by dodging a pair of knees coming at her, then dropping Brookside with a spinebuster and powerbomb for a pair near falls. The closing moments saw Brookside and James arguing in the middle of ring. It became physical when Brookside shoved and slapped James, only to receive a right hand to the face in return. After recovering from the blow, Brookside launched Hartwell into the exposed steel turnbuckle, then spiked her with a DDT. Hartwell launched Brookside into turnbuckle next, paving the way for an elbow drop and Hurts Donut to follow for the title victory.
