Tip of the Day: Leaders to edge it at Anfield and stalemate at Selhurst Park

With some mouth-watering clashes at both ends of the Premier League this afternoon, it makes for some compelling options for the Tip of the Day. The most eye-catching contest takes place at Anfield, where Liverpool host a Manchester City side who are in action for the first time since an independent commission found the club guilty of more than 100 alleged breaches of the Premier Leagues financial rules. Enzo Maresca has insisted his players and staff completely trust in the club and says they are maintaining full focus on matters on the pitch, where they are looking to preserve a perfect start to their league campaign. Liverpool are yet to suffer defeat in the top-flight this term under new boss Andoni Iraola, but were backing high-flying City who are priced at 6/5 to continue their impressive start. At the other end of the table, 15th placed Crystal Palace welcome 13th placed Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park in what will be a first return for Forest boss Oliver Glasner to the club where he secured both FA Cup and European glory. Both sides have endured difficult starts to the campaign, making a draw look like a sensible option at 23/10.
