Josh Alexander has spoken about the emotional tribute show for Pac on "AEW Dynamite" and how it felt to wrestle Bryan Danielson.Danielson returned to the ring on the September 30 episode of "Dynamite," where he reunited with the Death Riders for their main event clash against The Don Callis Family. Alexander revealed that Danielson himself was the one who told him that he would be wrestling on the night."I mean, it was Wednesday afternoon. Bryan actually approached me. He said hi, and he's like, 'Did you hear about the match?' I go, 'No.' And he goes, 'It's Death Riders against DCF [Don Callis Family].' And I was like, 'Okay.' And in my head I was like, I knew Mox was wrestling already and I was just like, 'Who's the other guy?' And he's like, 'Oh, it's me,'" he said to "Post Wrestling." "And I just moved away and then I went, 'Whoa, what? Did you say you're in the match?' He's like, 'Yeah.' And I went, 'Okay.' And he just starts laughing."Alexander was happy to be sharing the ring with Bryan Danielson, but at the same time sad, as he and the rest of the locker room were sharing stories of Pac and another star who recently passed away, Andy Williams. Wrestling in the tribute show, Alexander said, was cathartic to him and many others in the AEW locker room, and he believes it was a great way to honor the memory of Pac"And then this one thing happens and I was just like, I turned to Bryan afterwards and I was just like, this was the weirdest silver lining moment of my life. I never thought this was going to happen. Thank you," he added. "It's like cathartic for us to go out and do what we love to do and that we know that the person that passed away loved to do and try to honor them."The recent deaths of his peers have also reminded him to take photos with those he loves and also tell them that he loves them, which he did backstage at "Dynamite."
