It never seems to get easier for AEW announcer Jim Ross. Only two months ago, the legendary wrestling announcer underwent brain surgery, and though the procedure was successful, Ross is not out of the woods. On "Grilling JR," Ross revealed that the shunt put into his brain during the operation was giving him problems. In addition, a recent scan had revealed that Ross may also be dealing with another potential cancer issueto go along with the several biopsiesRoss underwent in the wake of his surgery."I saw a little spot of something on my kidney," Ross said. "So we're running a lot of tests. I'm getting...my shunts are bothering me in my brain. So I'm going to get a scan tomorrow and get that back to my neurosurgeon so he can tell me what the hell's wrong. It may just need to be adjusted, that's my take on it."Elaborating on the issue with his shunt, Ross revealed that it was causing him to experience "blistering headaches" that were preventing him from sleeping. The pain was so bad that Ross could only compare it to the pain one gets from a migraine. Both issues had led to Ross feeling a bit of stress, especially since this is not the first time there's been an attempt to fix the problem with Ross' shunt."I've had mine adjusted three times," Ross said. "So it's not a recent situation. But at some point, I've got to deal with sleep. And I feel fatigued a lot. My oncologist is...sending me to a specialist in Oklahoma City for a little place on my kidney, but they're not sure if its cancerous or not. So it's been a stressful week. It really has."If you use any quotes from this article, please credit "Grilling JR" with a h/t to Wrestling Inc. for the transcription
