Only a last-gasp goal from Eastleigh prevented yesterdays Tip of the Day coming in but were back with some more insight for Thursdays offering. Its back to Nations League action for two-thirds of todays tip and we start with the Republic of Irelands clash with Austria in Dublin. This game falls in between two politically-charged games against Israel and boss Heimir Hallgrimsson has regularly spoken about the emotional toll the first fixture in Debrecen, Hungary took on his players over the weekend.Ireland will likely have one eye on the return with the Israelis on Sunday and this game could get lost in the noise.Add in the fact Austria are a good side they sit 22nd in the FIFA World Rankings compared to Ireland at 55 and we cant see the visitors emerging empty handed. It has been quite the week for Portugal and they take on Denmark tonight without manchild Cristiano Ronaldo, who has left the camp in a strop at being left out against Norway.Ronaldos departure may be liberating for the rest of the squad and we think they will get a positive result in Copenhagen. The Danes are no mugs and cruised past Wales in their last outing so we are going for both teams to score. The third leg of our acca comes from the World Grand Prix darts with Luke Humphries in action. The world number two takes on Jermaine Wattimena tonight and looks a shoo-in to progress.Thursdays acca (odds are from bet365 and correct as of 12pm on October 1)Austria to win or draw against the Republic of Ireland @ 2/7Denmark v Portugal Both teams to score @ 8/15Luke Humphries to beat Jermaine Wattimena @ 1/3Combined odds of 1.62/1A 10 stake will return 26.28Responsible GamblingIt is important that when using any bookmaker and placing bets online, you practice responsible gambling habits wherever possible.
