Many WWE couples talk about how nice things are when you can be on the road and traveling with your significant other, but not many speak about the some of the much smaller difficulties of dating within the industry. WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green and her husband, fellow "WWE SmackDown" star Matt Cardona, appeared on "Casuals with Katie Nolan" and spoke about everything, including their relationship, where Green revealed something that even Cardona didn't know."I could not remember Matt's real name. Everyone called him 'Zack [Ryder],'" Green said. "Everyone called him his wrestling name. All his friends called him that. Everyone in his life called him that. I didn't know his parents yet, that would have been different if I knew his family, but everyone knew him as 'Zack' and nobody called him 'Matt,' until I feel like I was with him and only called him 'Matt' and then slowly still people called him 'Zack.'"A bewildered Cardona said that was his first time hearing it was hard for his now-wife to remember his real name. He did admit that even his dad called him 'Zack,' until he was released from WWE in 2020.Green and Cardona were reunited officially on the road when it was revealed the former-Ryder was officially once again a WWE star on the January 2 episode of "SmackDown." The star previously competed in "WWE NXT," as a member of TNA, in the companies' partnership. He also made a special appearance in John Cena's "Last Time is Now" tournament, where he lost to LA Knight, in November. If you use any quotes from this article, please credit "Casuals with Katie Nolan" and provide a h/t to Wrestling Inc. for the transcription.
