EmailPrintOpen Extended ReactionsMiami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane suffered a torn ACL during Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and will be out for the rest of the 2026 season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Monday.Achane was injured on his third rushing attempt of the game Sunday, when he was tackled awkwardly by Chiefs safety Alohi Gilman. Achane was slow to leave the field and was eventually escorted to the blue medical tent under his own power. He ultimately left the tent after a few minutes and was taken to the locker room for additional testing before being ruled out in the second half.After the game, Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley said the team was still gathering information on the injury but admitted that things did not look promising."To be very honest with you, it does not sound very optimistic at this moment," Hafley said. "But I can't give you any other details until I have them."Achane had rushed for 127 yards on 34 carries in three games.
