EmailPrintLANDOVER, Md. -- Washington Commanders linebacker Leo Chenal was carted off the field with a neck injury late in the second quarter.Chenal filled the hole on a run with 6 minutes, 47 seconds left in the first half where he tackled Seattle Seahawks running back Emanuel Wilson by appearing to lead with his head.The linebacker immediately went to the ground as medical personnel were quick to run to his side. Teammates surrounded Chenal as the crowd chanted "Leo! Leo!" He was taken off on a cart, raising his left hand as he approached the tunnel. The Commanders ruled him out shortly before halftime.Chenal was starting in place of the injured Frankie Luvu, who was missing his second consecutive game with a groin injury. The Commanders were thin at the position because another inside linebacker, Jordan Magee, was placed on injured reserve after the opener with a hamstring injury.Second-year linebacker Ale Kaho, who was elevated off the practice squad for this game, replaced Chenal in the lineup.
