Karl-Anthony Towns just helped deliver an NBA championship to New York, but that hasnt made negotiations over his future any easier.Contract talks between Towns and the Knicks have reached a standstill ahead of training camp, with the two sides currently considered unlikely to reach an agreement on an extension, according to ESPNs Shams Charania and Vincent Goodwill.The Knicks and Towns have spent significant time discussing a new deal throughout the offseason, but there has been no movement lately in negotiations, Charania and Goodwill reported.There is plenty of money at stake.Towns is eligible to sign an extension worth up to four years and $273 million.
