At WWE Backlash 2016, AJ Styles captured his first WWE Title when he dethroned Dean Ambrose in what was one of their best encounters in the ring together, and during a recent edition of "WWE Retrospective," "The Phenomenal One" reflected on wrestling the AEW star."We'd had the opportunity to do some live events together and man, he was so good. We had great chemistry as well.So I knew this was going to be a really good match," he said. "Another guy who has perfect timing in everything that we did and is so calm in there.I've never met anybody who, I mean, listen, I get over hyped sometimes in my match. Not Dean, he's the same from the first to the last ... He never got tired.I remember being exhausted at the end of this match and I think he just walked by no problem, got him a cup of water and he was fine."Styles became world champion just seven months after his WWE debut, and according to the 49-year-old, winning the title in the biggest wrestling company in the world was an accomplishment that many didn't believe he would achieve, especially since he was an outside indie star for his entire career.
