Jaidon Anthony, Igor Thiago and Fabio Carvalho all scored as Brentford secured their first Premier League victory since the opening weekend on a bruising night for Chelsea. Former Burnley winger Anthony nodded home in the 61st minute and Thiago netted his first league goal of the season seven minutes from the end to sink a Chelsea side that offered little going forward.Substitute Fabio Carvalho added a third in injury time to leave Xabi Alonso looking a beleaguered figure on the Chelsea bench.Alonsos side were hoping to bounce back from a defeat at Arsenal and a disappointing home draw with Hull but rarely threatened Caoimhin Kelleher in the Brentford goal.Pedro Neto had a ninth minute shot palmed away by Kelleher and Morgan Rogers saw a goal bound shot blocked by Bees defender Jannik Schuster five minutes before the break in Chelseas only moments of hope in the first half.And Brentford were little better in a drab first 45 minutes.
