Waller watched on from ringside as D'Angelo, Shugars, and Rook defeated Cruz Montana, EK Prosper, and Keanu Carver in a Six Man Tag Team Match during last Tuesday's episode of "NXT" to earn their spots in tonight's match. The closing moments of last Tuesday's match featured Rook tagging himself to steal the pin from D'Angelo much to D'Angelo's frustration and an angry Montana and Carver brawling with one another on the entrance ramp.Myles Borne will be issuing a public apology to his former best friend Tavion Heights. Borne has shown remorse and regret on his X page for blindsiding Heights with a Borne Again at "NXT" Heatwave on August 30, and appeared in the crowd during last Tuesday's show to stare down Heights moments after Heights had unsuccessfully challenged Vanity Project's Jackson Drake for the North American Championship. He was spotted later that night backstage talking to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, who advised him to hold off on his apology.Osiris Griffin and Cutler James of DarkState will be joining forces with one another to go head-to-head with Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Legacy and Van Dux will surely be looking to redeem themselves after coming up short against Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno on the September 1 episode of "NXT" in both of their most recent matches. Additionally, Lizzy Rain will be going one-on-one with Kali Armstrong following a brief backstage verbal confrontation between the pair last Tuesday.
