Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey's tag team JetSpeed may be gone, but they are not forgotten, especially by Knight. Despite the fact that he betrayed Bailey and joined the Don Callis Family, the former AEW TNT Champion still has a soft spot for the team and his former partner, revealing during an interview with "The Tap Out Tea" that working with Bailey opened up a world of possibilities for Knight's career."Speedball, we go way back, even before AEW," Knight said. "He was such an influence on my career, because he's been wrestling twice, three times longer than I have. So he's shown me the ropes, and, you know, just being int he ring with somebody like a Speedball puts you in the best position against top talent. You know, with him, immediately I got to wrestle the Young Bucks, got to team with Kenny Omega, immediately got to wrestle Will Ospreay. All the top guys in AEW. FTR. And we got to share those experiences, and we grew a lot. But I felt like I was ready to go on my own. I had to cut the chord, had to cut the dead weight. Ever since then, Jet been flying high."Towards the end of his appearance, Knight was given a series of rapid fire questions, one of the last being whether he'd be willing to reunite with Bailey as JetSpeed one day. Knight seems pretty pleased with where he's at in his career right now, but he admitted he was willing to revisit the team at some point, and that he still cares about Bailey."You know, in wrestling we love to say 'never say never,'" Knight said. "But Speedball chose the wrong side of history as of now. He's always good in my heart.
