Although she failed to capture the WWE NXT Women's Championship last week, Jaida Parker is still coming off a strong showing in her rivalry with industry veteran Natalya (AKA Nattie). The two first met in singles action this past June, with Nattie winning the first match before Parker picked up wins in July and August. Speaking to Bully Ray on "Busted Open After Dark," Parker opened up about her experience working with Nattie."Nattie brought it out of me she did bring the dog out of me," Parker said. "I was on my come-up. Yeah, like you said, I took a few Ls, and that's okay, that's a part of life. But when you come to me while I'm already down and you try to kick me even lower, yeah, you set something off in me."At WWE NXT Heatwave last month, Parker submitted Nattie with her own finishing move: the Sharpshooter. The NXT star stated that she felt she had to do it, and recalled the feeling as incredibly satisfying."[Nattie] tried to prove a point to me; I tapped out to [her] Sharpshooter," she continued. "[That] made me click back into what I knew Jaida Parker already had, at the end of the day. It's okay, I just needed a little spark."She further clarified that she pulled out the Sharpshooter to prove a point that she could go toe-to-toe with Nattie. Despite the battles they went through, or perhaps because of them, Parker stated that she has a great deal of respect for Nattie.Nattie previously confirmed that she asked to stay down in NXT to specifically work with Parker, and that request was honored. Following the loss at Heatwave, Nattie made an appearance in AAA and took part in a four-way match to determine the number-one contender for the Reina de Reinas title, though she fell short.
