Though their characters were polar opposites in the ring, both Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker have striking similarities outside of it. From being each other's opposition in the ring starting in the "Ruthless Aggression" era of WWE to becoming Hall of Famers, and now working alongside one another in AAA, Mysterio commented on what their working relationship has been like since the acquisition in 2025."Oh, very, very delighted... It was a crazy way of looking at it at first, with the acquisition, and then kind of knowing who was put in that place. But never any doubts, just, okay... how is this gonna work?"
