With a record setting TNT Championship reign and a PPV headlining match against Kenny Omega at AEW Redemption, Kevin Knight's 2026 has already been a big success, with many expecting even more to come. And some are hoping that future involves Knight tearing it up with two of AEW's most well known veterans, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate. In an interview with "WRESTHINGS," Knight stated he was open to facing off with Lashley and Benjamin, provided the scenario worked for everybody involved. He also revealed that he had a strong real life relationship with both men, as well as their manager MVP."I'm always down to do business," Knight said. Off camera or offscreen or whatever, those guys are like big brothers to me, like the cool uncles, you know what I mean that are always giving me good advice, that are always in my corner and everything. If the stars and the moon, all of that line up, then maybe we can do business."Knight has stood across the ring from Benjamin and Lashley before, albeit before he reached the heights he has in 2026. Alongside then JetSpeed teammate "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Knight feuded against Benjamin and Lashley during the late spring/early summer of 2025, with the duo even challenging Benjamin and Lashley for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW All In in a match that also featured Christian Cage and Nick Wayne.
