Two WWE stars who haven't been utilized much on main roster television of late could reportedly be headed toward a tag team run. According to False Finish on X (formerly Twitter), there have been discussions within WWE creative about pairing up Ivy Nile and Jordynne Grace. Both Nile and Grace have been competing on "WWE Main Event," Nile most recently defeating the just-released PJ Vasa on August 3, and Grace was defeated by Kiana James back on June 12. Grace wrestled a dark match against Blake Monroe on the May 15 edition of "WWE SmackDown," and her last televised match was on the episode ahead of WWE WrestleMania 42, where she lost a Women's United States Championship number one contender's match to Tiffany Stratton.Nile's last main roster match came on "WWE Raw" in March. She competed in a gauntlet match for a shot at the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Asuka, IYO SKY, Raquel Rodriguez, and Lyra Valkyria, a match that was ultimately won by Bayley. A report last week by Fightful Select revealed there have been plans in store for Nile, and a "big change" was coming for her.Fightful Select noted at the time, however, that the star's contract was set to expire soon. Neither Fightful or False Finish have reported an update on "The Pitbull's" contract status, as of this writing. The most recent report on Grace's absence from main roster TV came back in June. The star was sidelined by an ankle injury for a few weeks in March prior to this recent absence. Fightful reported at the time that Grace had been backstage at a few episodes of "SmackDown," and had traveled to Europe with WWE, but was waiting until creative had something for her.
